In my personal opinion, some people and organizations act in
a way that I consider to be evil. Have fun perusing my
Rogues' Gallery. :-)

Credit Cards
OK, these are pretty obviously evil in general. Some credit
card companies honestly help people increase their buying power
and make a reasonable profit. However, many of the companies
are abusive. Consider as an example:
- Fleet - Ooh, they're so evil, they
get their own page. Read for yourself.
Keys to Surviving the "Benefit" of Having Credit
- The best way to use credit - always pay your balance backdown
to zero every month
- Always pay more than the minimum payment; if you can't
afford that, stop charging!
- Avoid variable rate interest
- PAY ATTENTION to the tiny pieces of paper the company slips
into your bill about changes in terms of your account
- Stay ahead of your credit, don't just carry the debt indefinitely
- Do not sign up for numerous credit cards; every card is
a vulnerability

Telemarketers
OK, so maybe evil is a little strong of a word, but hey, this
seemed the best place to put them.
- When a telemarketer calls you, tell them explicitly, "Put
me on your do not call list." They cannot call you for
at least one year. If they do, call 888.PUC.TIPS and report
their misconduct.
- In the US, you can jump on the National Do Not Call Registry
